Kaybie's Mom

Boxer Insane
I understand your concern but don't panic. I brought Kaybie home at 6.5 weeks old and have had zero problems. She has no issues with biting or socialization. If anything, she learned more quickly by being home earlier. She was literally housebroken by around 9-10 weeks old because I started working with her so early. I'm sure your pup will be fine. And I agree that getting her now is a much better alternative to her being shipped off to a pet store. So go get your baby and just give her lots of love and patience. She will be fine. And congrats on your new addition!

From the concern you express and the provisions you've already made, it sounds like you are more than willing to go the extra mile for your pup. And from what others are saying that's what you'll need.

It sounds like a dog that young (don't know never done it but of course here on BW you got so many people who have!!) just needs a compassionate, devoted, and patient teacher (all do but this is probably to another degree during the puppy stage) - and you wouldn't have posted, researched, or made all those arrangements if you weren't ready to step up to that. Best of luck! All dogs need homes and it's always great to see someone who is able to rescue (in a way) a BYB pup and give it whatever it may need :)
