I just read your thread. My heart goes out to you. It sounds like your have hada rough time lately. I will pray for you and all of those that you mention in you thread. Nothing is impossible with God.

To the dear friend who flatters me more than I ever derserve
I know what you must be going through tonight.......just hang in there Pam.....Ginty is a tough lady and will come through this just fine.
Needless to say....Monty and me will be waiting just like all your other Boxer World friends to hear that Ginty is back home and recovering.

Thanks everyone.......
Last night seemed like one of the longest in my life.........I could hear my girl Ginty....snoring softly lying by the side of my bed....... lovicon............. I have cuddled her and kissed her this morning took her a little walk.....plus given her her last drink of water until after the operation............
HOW DARE PEOPLE SAY SHE IS JUST A DOG.......... that is what I was told when I broke down and cried at work.........I wasnt able to get time off work to take her........so Andy is taking her this morning.......... I just wont be able to so ANY work this morning.... just cant wait to collect her this afternoon.......
I am thinking positive and know my girl will be OK....and chasing the cats and snoozing on her special bench in a couple of days.......lovicon

Ginty has cancer..........
Hi I have just returned from work..........Andy told me the vet rang this morning to say Ginty had cancer of the ovaries and uterous but in the early stages....she is sending them away for analysis...........my poor poor girl......... I just feel so down...... just hope she will be OK............................ we collect her from the vets at 4.30.......... let you know more later..... god bless my girl......

Hugs and prayers for you and Ginty! We're praying that the cancer was caught early enough so that the spay will completely take care of things. Sounds like Ginty is in for some spoiling from mom (more than usual 
).
And people can be so insensitive! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: For anyone who would DARE say "it's just a dog" I have nothing but pity as they will never know or be able to appreciate the unconditional love of our cherished four-footed family members.
But, on a much happier note, I saw an amazing episode of Life's Little Miracles on Discovery Health Channel this morning - it was about a 4 year old boy with both a hole in his heart and a severe cleft lip and palate. I saw it and said "that's like Molly Anne!" and had to explain to my hubby who that was... :D Needless to say, this little boy (his name was Vishal) came through all his surgeries (first the heart, then 6mos later the lip/palate repair) with flying colors! In spite of the fact that he was so old (relatively!) when everything was done. How is your little mite doing these days??
