Hi Ya'll, just let me go ahead and tell you HOW thankful I am to have found this little (if you can call it little) boxer-lover haven. Its a little piece of heaven on earth~ just like our babies! :) I have read and re-read many posts and learned far more than I could have imagined.

However, the problem is that my almost 2 year old baby boy, Mocha, is an allergy baby too! Up until I read this board according to everyone I know (including the vet) I was doing the best possible for him with his Science Diet~ Who Knew!? Now I am in shock, and changing ASAP! He has been licking/biting his feet. Our vet advised me to give him benadryl twice idea, which has seem to be a pretty common piece of advice. My problem is that I need to find a new food for him that is best for allergy-prone babies. I have read post after post comparing several dog foods. Natural Balance has been seemingly the best brand to go with for possible allergies, but I could be wrong. Could something else be better? I am willing to travel lengths, and pay what it takes to make him comfortable. I am still lost however to what could be the BEST for him. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I am so happy to be here! God bless you and your boxers! :)

California Natural is a good choice as well as "Wellness" brand foods. Those are pretty grain free and made primarily for allergic dogs.

My boy really loves "chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul" and he also likes the Wellness super5 puppy food.
