I have been strugling to find the right food for our 7 month old male. We have been through about 4 different foods. All premium food and have had problems with vomiting or diarea. He didn't do well on Medi Cal or Lamb and rice by Performatrin. Finally we have him on a premium food by Precidents choice. First ingredients are Chicken, Chicken meal, brewers rice. His stools have hardened, no vommitting and he seems to like it just fine. My concern now is that he eats about 3 cups and has about 5 bowel movements each day. He also has only gained about 3 pounds in the month he has been on it. Not sure if that is normal at his age, but he is only 39 pounds and about 21.5 inches tall at 7 months. You can't see his ribs, but he is tiny. Not very muscular. I would love some suggestions on a good food for a sensitive system. I've been considering Canidae, Wellness and Innova. any advise would be appreciated.
