Very cute story. I remember when Sidda was little she would chase our little 12 lb. bichon under the couch. Now the bichon still goes under the couch, but Sidda can only fit her head under. She paws and and scratches and flails her legs, but just can not make it under there...lol.

 Funny story! I can see the wheels turning in that puppies head. He is very clever, better keep your eyes on that one. :)

Farley does the same thing, except he does it w/toys. His ball will roll under the couch and even though he could get it w/minimal effort, he whines for me to reach under and pull it out! What a dork!

Markus used to do that too!

When Mason was a pup he would go under the bed. It is a king size and relatively high off the ground. Well as he grew he would be constantly get stuck under there. It was especially ridiculous b/c he would go there at night and wake me up squeeling. Then I would have to get out of bed, Un-wedge him and go back to sleep. Now I am wondering if this was all a ploy all along!!!!!

Sorry about posting again, but as I was reading these to my husband, we were brought back to a night when Sam did this very same thing! He was only about 4 or 5 months old and we were sound asleep in bed when we heard him start whining. I got out of bed to follow the noise and he was "stuck" under the bed. I assumed he just got lost/confused by the bedskirt, but now that I think about it, he was facing the right way to get out and probably just wanted some attention!

They are crafty little devils, aren't they? Trixxie will roll her ball under the edge of the kitchen cabinets (only a 2-3 inch overhang) and then pretend like she can't get it. She'll paw, then come to me, do the "whine and pay attention to me" thing, then go back and paw again - the entire time she can get it - she just pretends she can't get it!

We gotta love our furkids!!!
