My Sadie is 11 months old. I think she is on her cycle and she is so swollen. Is this normal? Should I take her to the Vet? I hate to be graphic but it looks like shes giving birth to a ping pong ball! It doesn't seem to hurt her and she just keeps licking (again sorry for the graphic descriptions) I am not sure if this is normal. I have talked with other people and they say the swelling is normal but the bubble like thing is freaking me out!

The swelling and bloody discharge is normal but what you describe as a 'ping pong ball' could be a prolapse. I would definitely call the vet. Sometimes they self correct after the cycle is over but you dont' want her licking at it because she could damage the tissue. Also, if the tissue loses blood supply that is bad. Call the vet!
