Sachi will be 2 in January. I have been taking her to a local dog park for over a year now, and she gets along with other dogs just fine, and doesnt have a mean bone in her body. She loves to run, and when dogs don't want to run, she "pokes" at them with her nose, and will keep on doing this no matter how irritated the other dogs get. Even when other dogs are growling and snapping at her saying "go away", she continues...almost as if she "doesn't get it". On top of that, she doesnt respond when I tell her to stop (which is a training issue). Others I have talked to tell me this is something she will have to learn on her own, but she doesnt seem to have any clue that other dogs may not like her. How can I curb this obnoxious behaviour?
