My Boxer is just about 1 year old. She refuses to stop going potty in the house. She knows that outside is potty cause when I take her out, she goes right away then comes right back to the door. However, When inside the house If she is unsupervised for 1 minute she will go anywhere she wants to!! Then when I see it, I yell her name and she puts her head down and goes to her cage. P.S. she never messes in her cage, only in the house. Any ideas??? I've ran out of options. I've tried absolutely everything!!!

Thank you in advance for your responses.

....sounds like you need to keep a constant eye on her and catch her just as she appears to go in the house and get her outside. When she goes outside-praise,praise praise! I know its not easy to keep an eagles eye on her but just catching her a couple of times should help tremendously. Good luck

Has she had any kind of basic obedience? I know when Drake was 4 months, we took him to puppy kindergarden and he learned "potty outside". Basically it's this. When you take your puppy outside to go potty, say the same "mantra" over and over again, "potty outside, potty outside" over and over til they start to go. As soon as they "assume the position", you instantly be quiet and do not distract them. Make sure they are completely finished and ready to come in. Then give them a treat OUTSIDE. (always remember to bring something in your pocket) Lavish praise and the treat outside only. If you bring them back inside and give them the treat, they don't keep the connection to going potty outside. It took about a week for Drake to learn the drill. Good luck and you might want stay outside with her a bit longer to make sure she is finished:)
