I love the name 'Red' as in Red Adare (the oil fire fighter) for a fawn male (it was one of my choices for Zebedee but obvioulsy we went for the latter :LOL:

Sorry for posting in the wrong area, I'm new to this. I have so much I have to learn. I am so excited I think I am driving every one up the wall by talking about my new pup. By the way, My name is Bryan, from New Orleans, and I love dogs. This is my first boxer. I already own a German Shepard, Jack Russell Terrier hybrid, named Reno. He is about 7 months old. My boxer will be six weeks old when I pick him up. I am just ready for the first encounter of my two sons. LOL

Hum.. Can you wait until he is 8 weeks to pick him up? I know, the extra two weeks will seem like eternity.

Or Oso? I've recently seen two boxers named Oso. I think Oso is a cool name.

I know most people recommend 8 weeks for picking up your boxer, but a Vet assured that it would be okay to pick him up at 6. I know that most VETS don't have a clue when it comes to taking care of all breeds. Just in case what recommendations do you have to help him out during that 2 week period that I have him. I really want to make his life with me as great as possible.

well not to be off topic but those 2 weeks are very important and have never heard of a vet or responsible breeder saying they are not. I'd do some searching on the puppy forum and you'll find all the info you need. And might get some more responses for you specific questions. Now back to the name... How about Riddick or Lennox, and my girl Mercedes recommends Benzino that way you can call him Benz. and btw congrats on the pup and hope you enjoy this awesome site as much as the rest of us.
