Boxer Pal
Can anyone offer me some advice? My Boxer, Kobi, is 14 months old. We just moved into a new house last week, and he has pooped in the house three times now (two times happened within an hour after going poop outside). Also, he had his first long day in the kennel last Friday (my husband and I both work full time), and he pooped, urinated, and vomited in the kennel. He has never pooped in the house or the kennel. Do you think he is stressed by the recent move? Or do you think it's something more than that? Any ideas on what I can do to help him?

Thanks so much!

It could be stress, but I'd take him to the vet to make sure there isn't something else working on him.

Good luck, and keep us posted!!

stressed

Well from what you have wrote I would say stress!!! I moved about 10 months ago and it was my boxers first move in 5 years of her life. She adapted well, she had a bigger yard, two loving parents but I didn't leave her alone for long periods. I am a stay at home mom so I could be there to comfort her and she had an adjustment period. We didn't have problems until we went home for Christmas and my neighbours were watching her and let her in the house for a while........well we came home to a nicely drenched mattress where she definitly protested about us going away and decided to urinate on our bed!!!

Point taken!!!! she doesn't like it when we go away leave her in a new place!!!

good luck, it will take some time just be patient and he will come around....try making your house fun.....my husband invented an new game of hide an go seak with our boxer to help her learn the house and have fun at the same time.
