Nikkichele -

Mackenzie is just two days younger then Jaeger, and let me tell ya, I have a troublesome teenager on my hands too! Unfortunately, this is also the period of time where once cute puppies are turned into shelters/rescues...BUT the good thing is, as I learned with Princess and I'm sure many here will tell you the same - they grow out of the worst of this bratty teenage puppy stage. So there is light at the end of this bratty puppy tunnel!

You've been given some great advice already, all of which is well practiced in my house. Can't say enough good things about "the dog listener". Mac has to 'earn' everything by being in a calm 'sit-stay'. Doors don't open, treats aren't given, playtime isn't allowed - nothing unless he is calm and in a sit stay. This allows me to keep some sanity in the house, and he understands who is boss. :) He'll still try to be his pushy self ( ;) ) with guests, so its important that everyone in the house is consistent.

I can't stress enough that in my house, a tired puppy is a fun to be around puppy. :) Exercise, socialization, play time - phew! Mac is an angel after a busy day, and a devil when he hasn't had enough to do. :D

Good luck - I'll be sure to keep Mackenzie away from the computer so he doesn't try and give Jaeger any more naughty tricks!!
