Help help help

[first timer]

Diesel just turned 7 months on the 20th. Up to now he's been very good in crate training. He can stay up to 7 hours in his crate without peeing. and at night he will go out at 10pm and be good all the way up to 9 am. However last night he went out at 8pm and at 7 am he was barking a lot so I went to see and he had peed in his crate (first time ever). so I cleaned the crate with nature's miracle and two hours later he peed in his crate AGAIN. What is going on?? he was able to go 7 or 8 hours without peeing in his crate and he never peed in his crate before, not even when he was 8 weeks old. WHY now??
I really would appreciate some help from those members who have experience. He's my first dog ever.

If he was crate-trained for some time and these are his first 2 accidents in less than 24 hours, I'd suspect possibly a health issue. I would take him to the vet and have him checked for a UTI (urinary tract infection).

I agree that it sounds as though it may be an urinary tract infection. Easily treated.
