Help ginty eating poo

What is it with kitty crunchies??? I don't have a cat now, but when Louie and I lived with my friend, she had a cat. And we had to put the litter box up high because Lou would stuff his big ol' head inside the litter box searching for those yummy crunchie candies in the box... gross!!!!!

What a gross topic, I usually hide Aspen's additiction from friends and relatives but with other boxer lovers I guess all is fair for open discussion LOL. Aspen is the grossest little girl in the world. After being outside for a little while, I'll call the dogs to come in and here she comes flying, she doens't get but 10 feet away and I can smell her. I go to wipe out her mouth and she has poop in between her teeth ( gross). Poor Aspen must get five baths and tooth brushings a week, I keep telling her is she'd just clean up her act we'd all be better off!!!!!! ( We actually had to install a cat door on the room that Catie's litter box was in or Aspen would ALWAYS be into the box!!)

for a long time I thought Oscar would never stop getting into the litter box. He grew out of that and eating any other kind of poo by the time he was about 6mo to a year. I hear that they like it for protein GROSS!!! When Oscar was little I used to poop scoop and throw it in a bucket until I could throw it where Oscar wouldn't be able to get to it. Well, one time i forgot to put it away and it rained. I let Oscar out to go to the bathroom and when he came in he gave me all kinds of kisses, I couldn't help but wonder why he stank soooo bad!! I washed his muzzle with a cloth over and over and it wouldn't go away. Finally, I realized he had been drinking out of the bucket!! It's funny how the stench and I'm guessing the awful taste doesn't phase them.

We now have the kitty box in the extra downstairs bathroom. With a baby gate in the doorway. No more kitty crunchies for Evie & Adam.

mummm!!!kitty crispys!!!

My girl loves those kitty crispys...we so lovingly refer to them as. she wouldn't leave them alone..we tried the stuff the vet gave us that made poo not so tasty.it's a little packet and makes poo taste like poo..it only took twice and she didn't eat kitty crispys again..the vet told me that cats didn't digest all of the vitamins and thats what they go for besides cat food is much more tastier that dog food the fish oils and stuff and that it would make her ill... No More Kitty crispies for us...

Evidently, cats don't digest their food very well so the pups don't think of it as cat "poo" but as "food."

Tyra loves cat poo. I have to walk her on a short leash because she sticks her head through shrubs in search of it.

Poor Ginty. I can picture her moping all day waiting for you to come home PJ.
