Help cleaning nose

Skylar's nose gets so dirty, and it also gets clogged, would it be ok to use one of those plastic suction things that you use for a baby? Any other suggestions? Thanks

A bulb syringe would probably be ok to use, but how is her nose getting dirty? How old is Skylar?

My 10 year old boxer Caney has had a crusty nose for a few years now, and our holistic vet said it's kidney related.
