Help!!! Bailey's leg is getting worse

When Bailey was about 4 months old we put her in a crate to keep her safe when we left to go out for awhile. Well...apparantly she got her leg stuck. And she has been seriously limping since then. We took her to the vet and he said she's just growing. She will be (1) October 18th. She loves to play with her playmate Bonnie, but when I pick her up it's worse. I have made an appt. with the Vet for next week. Will she get better? Does she need surgery or physical therapy!! Help!

It depends on why she's limping. Did the vet do any x-rays the first time? There are several things it could be. I'd recommend finding a vet who specializes in orthopedics and having her evaluated by them....

And then find another regular vet, because saying "he's just growing" is not providing good veterinary care. Let me guess, they charged for an office visit to tell you that, right?

UPDATE:
Took Bailey to the Vet today. She has a ruptured tendon in her left hind knee. She's having surgery next week. It's called Cruciate Repair. She will have a cast on. Now I am trying to figure out how I am going to keep her calm:)
Thanks for your concerns!
PS: Bailey is (1) on Oct. 18thbirthdayic

Poor baby. I hope the surgery goes smoothly and she is up and running around real soon. We will keep her in our prayers.
