We are feeding Kosmo Natural Blend by Royal Canin. It is a holistic food that was recommended second to another (Golden something or other in a shiny foil package with a sun on it). That one was a little pricey ($23 for a 7 lb bag) so I went with this one. Yes, we are still moistening it. He won't eat it otherwise. When are you supposed to stop doing that? I will have to try the yogurt (is that what you moistened it with this morning?). I am a little unsure though--we have decided no table food to keep him as healthy as possible--is that considered people/table food? I have read that alot of people use things like cheese, eggs, peanut butter etc and they obviously care about the health of their dogs but I just wasn't sure. Good to hear from you!

ps. have you made any of the recipes for doggie treats? We are still using soft treats--Kosmo doesn't like the hard bisquits yet. He doesn't seem to know quite what to do with them!

Boxer Pal
My maddie was 7 weeks when I got her, but she hadbeen seperated from her mom at 5 weeks. I have found from past experience that the younger the puppy the more independent they are and sometimes may have certain underlying fears or uncertainty. My parents breed St. Bernards and we always reccommended for the puppies to be picked up at 8-9weeks of age. But as long as you are able to spend a lot of time initially with the pup. everything should go fine. Good luck
