HELP - 2 boxers?

She must have been roomies with Aniah, because she is from there too. She is my little devil child....Satan's Own....and absolutely full of the badness . But she is mommy and daddy's little Princess.

Well I think we decided to do it. We put the deposit down with the breeder a few weeks ago but it is refundable up to 7 days before pick-up. Yesterday they posted updated pictures of the puppies on their website (about 7 wks old now) and we fell in love with the whole group of them. We didn't hesitate to start making a list of things we need to buy and dig out of storage to accomodate a second dog. I'm a little worried still since we live in a townhouse and I know they get loud when they play together. I've mentioned it to our more courteous neighbors and they didn't seem too concerned. Does anyone have imput on how bad the noise level is with two? Also, just how big of a jump is it in terms of expenses? Obviously in the beginning there are more vet visits for shots and such but once that is pretty much done does it level out? Our current boy has been very healthy (aside from some digestion issues when we were trying to save money and feed cheaper kibble) and since the new puppy will be from the same breeder I'm hopeful that will carry over. Since we figured out the food we haven't been to vet for anything other than a yearly check-up (knocking on wood).

If everything works out and we make the decision to go for it our new boy will be coming home on the 27th of this month.

Two dogs definitely cost more money but how much more also depends on you. Will you buy a lot of new toys for the puppy, go to puppy classes and so on. When I got my second dog the expenses were pretty high in the beginning (as you said, the vet visits, shots and so on) and now it's a little better. But still, two dogs eat more, need more treats, get sick sometimes.... It is a lot of money but to me it's worth it!

Male and female or does it matter

We have a 8 month old female but enjoy her so much we are thinking of getting another. Has anyone noticed or does it matter about having 2 females or 2 males?

A friend at my wires work has some puppies about 8 months she is wanting to find homes for. 2 white and 1 brindle. I like the brindle but it is also a female.

Any thoughts would be great.
