Hi to all you boxer fans.
I am a new mother to a wonderful fawn/white male boxer.
His name is Muggles.. (we call him mugzy for short).
He is now 5 1/2 months old. He had some stomach problems in the begining
(alot of diarrhea). We recently switched him to the "Barf" diet and he seems
to be doing wonderfully on it. I have heard good and bad things about the diet, but nothing else seemed to work. He's certainly a character. We also have a feral cat, about 6 years old (born in our yard), she really wants nothing to do with the dog. About 7 months ago we added a kitten to our house from the shelter (we fostered her and 4 other kittens and were unable to part with "Baby", she's so wonderful) Mugzy gets along with the kitten, but wants to play with her and he's WAY to strong for her. If Baby runs, he runs after her and pounces on her. I'm afraid he will hurt her by accident. But if Baby's just hanging, he seems to ignore her till she runs. Since they are really puppy/kitten I was hoping they would get along a little better. Any one have helpful suggestions to better foster the relationship between them? We are fortunate that we are able to leave Mugzy in the kitchen with a gate so he doesn't have run of the house when we are not there and we make sure there is nothing for him to get into (we lock the garbage can top on and he has a bed).
Thanks for suggestions.
