Boxer Pal
Hi, everyone! This is my first time using the site and I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Deborah and I have a 2 month old Female Flashy fawn boxer named Daisy. Well, I'm not even sure if that is the right term I should use for her because she is also part Husky. She looks mostly Boxer though, with the exception of her sky blue eyes.We had decided not to have her ears or tail clipped and I was wondering if this is something that Boxers need to have done or is it for appearance only? I have been trying to find some reading material on the Boxer/Husky mix because this is my first dog ever and after reading up on Boxer behavior tendancies and characteristics I was trying to get any information on how being half Husky might affect her behavior or any of her characteristics. If anyone has any advice or knows about the Boxer/Husky mix please fill me in on them. I hope that this combination of dogs can be somewhat easy to train and still be a sweet, good-hearted dog. We have a 4 year old child and Im trying to get as much info and tips on how teach our son and Daisy to love each other without fearing one another. Please help.
