I joined a couple of months ago, but I do not think that an introduction was made. My brother and myself got our first boxer around 17 years ago. His name was Brutus and he passed away a few years later from cancer. The next was an offspring by the name of Zeus, he was stolen after a few years. The next was Cujo he was killed by a car on a New Years Eve a couple of years ago, he was only a year old. My next Boxer was a male brindle named Rex. He was my pride and joy. Two years ago he fell out of the back of a moving truck causing his right rear leg to break really bad. That was the last time that I put one of my dogs in the back of an open truck bed. Well, after a surgery that required metal plates and screws he recovered very well. About a year after that he fell sick after receiving his 6 month heart worm shot. Well three weeks later and three different Vet's I was told that he will not recover and I had to make that hard decision to have him put down. I did not get a reason for his sickness but I believe it was brought on from the heartworm shot. I really miss him, he had two weeks to make his 5th birthday. Well now I have Zack, he was born on September 30, 2004. He is light fawn with white markings. Thank you for reading, and having me as a member
