Hi Everyone! My Fiance surprised me with a 7 mos old boxer. My son named him Dash after the movie "The "Incredibles". The name sure does fit because Dash runs everywhere. I was pretty stressed out after the first couple of nights, howver he has definatley become the family dog. The only member of the family that does not enjoy his company is my 16 year old Pekingnese. Dash thinks that Gizmo is a walking stuffed animal provided for his enjoyment!

I have enjoyed reading the postings on this sight - I have learned alot and it is helping us understand our new guy. He is a beautiful fawn pup! I will be glad to share a pic, if anyone can provide the directions for posting a pic that would be great. I am new to the forum world!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to all of Dash's antics when I come home every day. It is great to be able to learn from everyone's stories. Dash has become an excellent listener, except when the kids are playing. Then all feet, arms, and legs become chew toys!!!

I have 2 right now mattie female 2 1/2 and samson male 7 months I just lost gracie last month. she had alot of issues, but I still miss her so much.

Thanks to all! We are definatley having fun, which seems consistent with all of you!! You are correct when you say "owned by a boxer". He definatley runs the show. He gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks which is great as he started out in life underweight and sickly. You would never know it now. I look forward to reading all of your stories and sharing ours as well.
