Walters Problems
Isn't it funny how things all happen at once? Within the last month my poor baby has endured so much ear infections, a kindey infection, a suspected acl tear...which the vet said was certain then when surgery time came around, did not exist and since his appitite is still good and he is not dropping weight i should not be worried!!!!(that was last wednesday and i have changed vets this week after that episode) and when i picked him up he told me he had taken some labs on his lymph nodes....whithout my approval i was pretty mad about him not asking first and not calling me to tell me there was no surgery...but that is besides the point....The doctor had taken the same tests in October because there was suspected lymphatic cancer... the tests were sent to the University of Michigan and thank god there was no cancer. I guess a second round is probably a great idea the labs will be in either tomorrow or wednesday so i have my fingers crossed, that they again find nothing. So he stared on lymphomax to detoxify his system hopefully this will help, and continues to take Rimadyl for his back left leg, which no vet so far can seem to find the problem. I feel horrible about this, although he sometimes dosent seem to notice. He wants to play and go for walks which i know is out of the question when i have to lift the little monster on the couch. I am so discouraged and feel that there is not end! His kidney infection is just about cleared up as well as his ear infection so i guess things are getting better but i just hope for the best and any help is greatly appreciated! My lil boy is only 4!!!!! Thanks for the concern and will keep posted on Walter's condition
