Hi, Everyone--

For a while I've been just reading the posts placed in the various forums at BW and could no longer resist being part of the group! Everyone is so great and supportive on this site and it's nice to be a part of a group who feels that Boxers, and animals in general, are a true gift in life. I am mommy to a 13 month old male named Bishop who is such a joy and total sweetheart. My husband, Bishop, and I live in Atlanta, GA and are happy to have our new friends, skin and fur, here at BW. Have a great day, everyone!

Hi Michelle,
Welcome to BoxerWorld! I'm pretty new here myself. Like you, I also spent a while reading the posts before I decided to join in. You will find a great, supportive community here, really seriously dedicated to keeping our babies happy, healthy and well-taken care of.

I did the same thing, I spent time reading, then after a while I noticed a few things, the biggest was most of my questions where asked multiple times a week by posters who where new and did not read first or use the search feature. Great to have you aboard and looking forward to the pictures :)

HI. I'm new here too. I'm from Savannah, so we are neighbors. We are getting our puppy in about 2 weeks, so I am reading all the comments here and trying to learn all I can. We have never had a boxer before but we are so excited.

Hi, again

Thanks for all of the welcomes, everyone!

SandG--Yes, we are neighbors! Savannah is one of my very favorite cities in the world. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy your new puppy--you'll see how fast he or she grows and matures so enjoy the baby months. I remember when I could snuggle Bishop against my shoulder and neck and now I can't even lift him (he's almost 70 pounds now)! You'll have to give us all the details once you finally get your little one!

Bishop is a big boy, do you have pictures of him. I also have a big boy, he's been filling out (he's almost 2) and I thought he was getting FAT, but his chest is just getting wider, he looks good now. Welcome to BoxerWorld!

It is so nice seeing people so close to me. I live in Rincon and work in Savannah. I haven't seen many boxers around town. We have 2 and they are such a joy.:)

Hey, Kristen--

I hope to be able to post pictures of Bishop soon. He is a big boy, but still looks pretty tall and lanky even though he weighs a lot. I'm hoping that he will top out somewhere near 80 pounds. He's absolutely gorgeous, but sometimes I get a little worried about all that mass because I think if something ever happened to him, I would not be able to lift him, and therefore, not be able to get him to a safe place or to help (do Moms constantly worry or what?!?) Your dog is such a cutie!
