Boxer Pal
Madison, my 5 year old fawn female boxer, and I just signed up to the site. She has a 5 year old female pitbull mix sister, Rhea, and Bella(F) and Koda(M) fawn boxer cousins that she occasionally visits. Madison is a rescue from a pound in Georgia(Bella was rescued from same pound 2 years earlier). She was brought to the pound by her previous owners at about a year old. She didnot get along with their American Bulldog and in turn was tied up outside most of her first year. With lots of patience and time we have brought her a long way from those days. She would attack other dogs (anything around her size or larger, little dogs do not faze her she LOVES them) out of fear that they would get her first. Introductions still need to be taken with care and respect, but she has now had mulitple playmates. Her favorites are passive dogs who love to wrestle! She out played her housemate, a 9 month old male Golden Retriever, every day! As a normal Boxer owner I could gush about all the cute things she does daily! We are excited to be here to share stories with other Boxer families!
