Hi Melissa,
I guess I will bring Coco. But he`s not a very big dog, although very large head and strong body. He`s 55 pounds. I`ll go check my emails now to see if your mail got there. Talk to you later :)

Hi Benoit!

My female is from the same place that your pup. I hope so much that you won't have any problems with your baby...

I went on J.E. against this place, I know around 15 persons with very sicks or over the brdge dogs from there...

She cannot go to any dog shows in Montréal or in Québec anymore, a bunch of breeders where not going if she was...

I still have my girl, she's a sweety, but she had cost me over 2000$ in vets and she on steroid daily...

The problems we find there are the following:
-no purchase proof
-no registration papers
-parvovirus
-ringworms
-kennel cough
-heart mumur
-allergies
-hypothyroidism
-pneumonia
-scared dogs
-young dogs with broken legs not threaten (this is serious, two young dogs from there had a broken leg!!!)
-demodex
-worms

Very sorry to break your dream, and hope everything will be ok with your puppy...

You should go to a good vet for a big check-up before meeting any other dog with him, there's a wonderful one in Laval who knows a lot about this place, for having lost puppies from there from parvo and she's Pénéloppe's vet...

You can PM me if you want.

Hello Jaelle,
Thank you for letting me know! Charlie is fine so far. He went twice to the vet and no problems. Although I paid the higher price to have him registered at the Canadian Kennel Club, but I still did not get the papers by mail I was supposed to get.
You know, I had doubts when I went there. The breeder asked me no question as to what kind of dog I need (e.g. dominant, submissive, companion, guarding abilities, temperament fitted for me and my wife, etc), and I knew breeders usually ask these questions. What surprised me the most is that she didn't know about the history of Boxers, while I actually know about it. She was not competent in answering my questions. When I asked about which puppy had which temperament, she said they were all the same. My wife actually chose Charlie but I found Charlie distant from the other dogs so I wondered if he was dominant. She said no he is just tired. However it turns out Charlie is very dominant with my older Pit BUll dog Coco. He is lucky Coco is very sweet and kind-hearted. I'm getting more and more experience so I don't mind to have a dominant dog. But how come I picked up on that and not a supposedly professional breeder.
I'm happy Charlie is in good health. I hope he won't have anything serious like hip dysplasia. And I hope I will get my Canadian Keenel Club papers soon. I will certainly call her.
Poor little puppies. I feel bad for them!
Thanks. You confirmed my intuition. I bought Charlie anyway because found him so cute. We just "fell" for him. More emotion than reflection.
But now he is part of the family and I'll do everything to make him happy.

I bought Pénéloppe for the same reasons... How can we see boxer puppies and not going back home with one!!!

For the dominance, boxer puppies are often very exuberant, witch may be confused for dominance. Be sure to socialised your puppy a lot, as most of the boxers I've seen from her lack of self confidence. It would be better to have him neuter not later than 6 months old.
