Hi fellow boxer lovers i have seen alot of lovely boxer pics on this site. I am a previous owner of a female boxer (SAM) for 12 years she passed on last december our family is currently searching to rescue or adopt a new companion we are from southwest Va area i have researched rescues and adoptions in my area and some of them require a large fee for rescue a little larger than i can afford right now i would greatly appericate any info on resoures for the VA area not requiring a large fee for rescue or adoption

Welcome to Boxer World. I am also in the SW part of VA. I only know of two boxer rescues in the state of Va. Which ones have you tried? I know their adoption donations are from $150 to $200. Good luck on your search. There are adoption and rescue boards on here as well.

Thanks for the info and i have viewed alot of the rescues on the internet i have applied with Southwest VA K9 boxer rescue i am awaiting a response on my application as for some of the other rescue sites they state adoption only too resident of that state, and some of the fees are a little more than i can handle at the present time. They are all so beatuiful it is hard to make a decision, you see their photos and you want to adopt all of them
