Hello all!

I do not yet own a boxer, but have wanted to for many years. I love the look, character, and history of this amazing dog!

I am still doing my research before I go ahead and get one though...I want to be 100% sure that we are a perfect fit for each other.

One question I can't get answers for in any book or article, is how do boxers react and interact with other pets? We have a rabbit and a couple of gerbils and will soon be adding a rat to the menagerie!

Any info would be appreciated!

Greetings! You'll find lots of useful information and meet many friends here.
Each animal is individual....I have had Boxers co-exist with several different animals...

Welcome to BW!!! I have found this site to be super helpful and are sure that you will too!!! Garin loves the cats, they however, arent too sure about him.

Welcome to BW! This is a great place to read all about Boxers! I know all Boxers are different but mine loves animals of all shapes and sizes. He has been very well socialized and will play with kittens, bunnies, little and big dogs, etc... So, I know that is not a ton of help, but if you get a pup and it is raised around these other animals chances are they will all be fine! :)
