Hey there everyone,Im Rachel,from the North East of England.I have one white boxer pup,with a brindle ear and eye patch,born on 26th March 2005,named 'Deuce.' I also have an Alsation X Black Lab called Kelly, who's 10 yr old,and is just adjusting to changes brought in by Deuce haha.

I have a question too for anyone - whilst looking on the net,I'v found a couple of websites where people have put pictures of their own boxers on etc, and I have noticed a few have suffered from 'stomach torsion.' Im just curious as to what it is exactly?

Stomach torsion is Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV) and commonly known as bloat.
Basically what occurs is that the stomach fills up with air, puts pressure on the other organs, and may then twist - which cuts off blood supply, leading to death in a great many cases. Deep chested breeds like boxers are at greater risk of bloat than some smaller breeds, and there appears to be a genetic component to it.
