Hello,
I am the proud new parent of a fawn 9week boxer pup. She is very calm, loving and a fairly fast learner. When we brought her home there was snow on the ground so she relieved herself on the sidewalk and driveway(with a few insides as well) within 2 days the snow started to melt and the grass appeared and she has been eliminating in the grass since. Her toileting has been going well but I need to take her out almost every 20 minutes or she will leave a mark. We have a kennel for which she goes in when I need to leave her unattended or go someplace she can't come with. I work at night and my husband works during the day so she is not home alone much at all. I take her with me on short rides and she sleeps on the seat. I have been reading alot of your postings and they are all VERY helpful. I am planning on using the bell training. we have a fenced back yard and hope to have her going out there to eliminate versus the front. I would appreciate any feedback for training, if there is a program better for boxers and also I would like to change her diet to something I can find alittle closer to home. She has been such a joy, she is so sweet and plays with my 3 children. Also as far as chew items is she to young for raw bones? I am giving her a "greenie" a day and she has several toys to keep her chewing occupied. Oh one other question any night time barkng ideas?
Thanks for letting me participate, this site is great for newbies like me.
