Hello from Ontario, Canada!

Glad to be a member of this great site for Boxer lovers.... Frieda is 18 months old, female, fawn, and I purchased her in Argentina!! We flew to Canada when she was 5 months old - the journey involved 4 planes (Cordoba, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Miami, Toronto). She had no problems during the 23 hour journey. Never thought it was so easy to travel with dogs, the airlines were fantastic. I was even paged in Santiago and Miami so I could walk her before the next flight! She has adapted to the cold winter climate in Ontario and is a joy to have her around. I have had other breeds before but never such a lovable animal. Cheers to all!

Welcome to Boxerworld!!!! Sounds like you have had a lot of fun with Frieda already!!!! Can't wait to hear more about her and see some pics too!!!! Where abouts in Ontario are you from? I live in Cambridge.

Thanks for your welcome....

We are in Newmarket now, and Frieda took a while to adapt to the new house - a few accidents here and there. Although she was trained in her crate, now she goes everywhere in the house, but sleeps downstairs on the sofa. I found her easy to train, eager to please and very curious.

We are in Oakville which is just outside of Toronto, and I have lived in Newmarket. How was the plane ride for Frieda? I have always been hesitant to put my Isis on a plane, but I know that many dogs have no problem with it.
Just an overprotective Boxer Mum?
