Bruno and myself have just joined your wonderful website, we could not be more excited to be here.
Bruno is a (almost) 6 month old brindle boy who is the love of my life. He is pretty big, we weighed him last week and he was a solid 50 pounds.

Just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce my baby to you!

I just tried to upload a picture of Bruno, but I am not sure if I did it correctly. Does it usually pend approval for a while?

If you uploaded it correctly, you will see an image that says "pending approval". Approving photos is a manual process, so it may take some time. However, if you do not see "pending approval" in your gallery, then you did not follow one (or more) of the Rules for uploading photos:

Please post photos of boxers in the appropriate categories and never in "members". Any photo uploaded to the members gallery or wrong category will be deleted. All photos you upload in the appropriate category will also appear in your own gallery. Photos of boxer mix dogs should be uploaded to the "other pets" category (we do not want people unfamiliar with the boxer breed to become confused). All photos uploaded are manually approved and this may take some time. Photos that are not good enough, badly cropped (white frame visible because the pictures were not resized when scanned) or too small will be rejected. The best size for uploading the pictures is 640x480 pixels in .jpg format and must be less than 100 kb; the minimum size is 200x200 pixels. Filenames must begin with a letter and should be short. Please visit the Help section before uploading photos for more information and instructions.

Hi, Bruno does sound like a huge boy! My pup, Helga, is just under 4 1/2 months old, and she is 30 pounds. Her mom is about 60, but her dad is around 85-90 pounds. Hope you enjoy the site. Oklahoma is beautiful. I got to visit about 3 years ago.

I just registered too. I love it so far. I used to spend every summer in SW Oklahoma. My friends also have a brindle Boxer named Bruno.Our Brindle is a girl, her name is Jagermeister. She's 1 1/2 years old and weighs 54 pounds. She's very muscular for her size. I wish I could upload a picture, but it says mine are too big.

Oklahoma is wonderful, all but the weather!

Bruno's dad weighed probably 100+, I am 5'9 and his shoulders were wider then mine. Big boy. His mother was pretty big too, but short. Or maybe it was because her belly was still a bit swollen from the kiddies!
I wanted to show Bruno when he gets a bit older, but my vet told me that he would be too big and muscular, that the average wieght for a boxer is about 55-65 lbs!
I would like him to be big, I run my business out of my house so I need a dog that makes people a bit stand-offish, just incase, you never know these days with all the crazy people out there!
