Hi my name is Trina. I rescued my pup, Heaven, from the local pound on May 11th, 2005. At that time, she was approximately 4 mos old. The dog warden had labeled her a "Boxer mix" but it became very apparent early on that she was more likely an American Pit Bull Terrier. This is what I have come to accept her as, and I still believe this is her primary breed. However, now that she has gotten older, it is becoming more apparent that perhaps she IS mixed with a Boxer, as she is slightly taller than your average APBT, and also has classic Boxer colors. (Red fawn, with white chest, and black facial marking.)

I came here to learn more about Boxer traits, so that I may better understand my dog, in turn, being able to provide her with the best care possible. I love my dogs more than anything in this world, so I would be happy to meet other dog-loving members too!
