Boxer Pal
I am so excited to find this site.
My sweetie and I stopped by the S.P.C.A. last Thursday and there he was...a six month old male boxer. We fell in love on the spot and took him home with us that very day. Friday I had to take him to the vet because he would not eat and had very runny stools. I was worried about Parvo, but it turned out he had worms. So he had his first puppy visit Friday, including Parvo and heartworm testing, and we left with an excellent health report (with the exception of the worms).
Max has already proven to be an exceptional pet. He is sweet natured, playful and exuberant, and is working hard with me on training. He is excellent with our children, even our nine month old. We are so glad we adopted him and have had loads of fun shopping for him.
I have been doing a lot of research on the breed and am learning tons of useful information. I have a lot of questions but will take them to the appropriate forum.
So from Max and I...a big thanks for welcoming us to your forum.
Kristin & Max
P.S. Max's ears are not cropped, and he still has his tail. But we just consider him unique. He is a flashy fawn colored dog!
