Hello from Michigan

I recently brought home an 8 week brindle boxer named Ace. He's doing very well...potty training, likes his crate, our only struggle is with his chewing. He isn't interested in toys...he prefers fingers and toes. We have a ton of pictures and will be posting them soon.

Welcome to BW...you will find information on the biting thing in the behaviour forum...i suggest the brown listerine...it works wonders, just spray it on anything (even yourself) that you don't want the dog to chew.

Welcome terp1022 and Ace!
It's great to see so many Michigan folks popping up with boxers. My girl is 15 weeks (today) and we are still working to overcoming the biting and chewing. My older dog is probably hoping this will end sooner rather than later. Look forward to your pics.

The nipping and biting can be frustrating! But they do out grow it...eventually! My son had holes in all his shirts for a while.

Welcome to you and Ace!!! Sounds like we have a teether!! It's funny, you'll go thru it again when they lose their baby teeth and their big doggie teeth start coming in...but by that time, they are used to chewing on their toys!! At least that's been our experience...good luck with your little one, I can't wait to see pics!!!
