Hi, my name is Shannon, and I have a male brindle boxer named Tigger. He will be 2 yrs old in August. My husband and I have had him since he was 12 weeks old, and he is such a character!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Tigger and I have been on the site quite a bit since my husband eric and I got him in November '05, but haven't had an e-mail address that allowed us to get a login. Now I'm excited to be able to share with surely the only people who can totally understand the blessing of owning and being owned by such a special dog!
Tigger has been the best dog, but has had some tough times in his short life. When he was 6 months old, he had a warty skin tumor removed from his left front leg. All went well, and all he has to show for it is a scar that looks like the stitching on a football! Getting him neutered also proved to be a challenge, as he was Cryptorchid (undecended testicles). It took a while to find a vet who would even touch him, much less one that didn't want $600 to do it! We finally found a great place that took very good care of him and he has recovered nicely! Believe it or not, they had to cut him to his belly button to find his "boys!". But all is well now!
