New Boxer puppie parent here. Ive been looking at this site for months now, reading all I could. Im happy to announce my pup is finally here. His name is Stanco Giuseppe Toro ( Giuseppe Toro after my wifes mother and Stanco means sleepy in Italian). I'll continue to read everything I can to better raise my buddy. Thank-You in advance for all the help this site has offered and will offer in the future.:)

Welcome, welcome, welcome, fellow Illinoisan...

I'm a south suburbanite with three boxers:

Chester, 2.5 year old fawn male rescue
Clyde, 2 year old fawn male
Bonnie, 2 year old brindle, female

Keep your eyes open for boxer bashes in the city and suburbs, they are a blast.

Can't wait to hear all your puppy stories.

Thank You all for the warm welcome. He still sleeps quite a bit, but when he's awake he's really AWAKE. We are starting obedience classes tonight. Our vet recommended Stone City Kennel. It's local and he knows the instructors. Question? How do I resize pix ? Im a carpenter and if I can't fix it with a hammer and nail ... Well you know.

it gives you info on how to reduce photos. I hope it works, It worked for me.

" How to reduce your photos if they are too big?
As posted by jj n vj you can download Irfanview at http://www.irfanview.com
"Its a free download. There are many nice features available, but to quickly see my pics, resize them and to make them ready to download:
1. Open program, select File, select Thumbnails.
2. Open the file where your pics are kept (this will display all your
pics in thumbnails).
3. Double-click the pic you want, select Image, select Resize/Resample, at lower left select '640 x 480'.
4. Select Save As and use a new filename if you want to keep this smaller pic and its original size (or save it under same filename if this doesn't matter).
5. You can also do lots of other edits (crop, brighten, darken,
sharpen, etc...) if you want.
6. Bam! Pic should be perfect size for downloading on BW. This program is much easier to use than many of the other 'fancier' programs out there, and its free!! You can also set up a slideshow for your pics.
I hope my directions above doesn't scare anyone off. It may seem difficult, but once you download it and play around, its really quite easy! Good luck!!"

Take care,
Lola
