Hello from Gretchens mom

I am the proud new mom of a precious fawn baby girl. She's 7 weeks old now and growing cuter and more stuborn everyday. She is 11 pounds now and just the happiest little thing in the world. Our family recently lost our boxer Sassy (she was 8 years old) to cancer and desperately wanted another baby. We adopted Sassy when she was 2 years old from a very mean person, and she was an awsome companion for me, my husband, and 4 kids. We've never experienced a boxer puppy before and we are finding out quickly that they are a handfull! We have so many questions, so I hope I don't drive anyone crazy here with all my questions. I feel like I've just had a newborn baby all over again.

Hi & welocome I'm still kinda new to this. But congrats to you and your family on your new baby. How do your kids like her? They are lots of fun! Young or old! We have a 3yr.old Bailey(going on 6 mon. .) she is still a handful. But shes my princess! And our lil. guy Dozer is 5 mon. his a lil.cutie! He has not felt that well in the past few weeks he has HOD. But he is getting better every day. We also have a beagel(sally) and a german shorthaired pointer(maggie). They are fun but i'll never be with out a boxer! I know you are thrilled with your new baby, love the puppy breath and smell! Enjoy it while you can...they grow like weeds so take lots of pics(something i did not do while they were pups!) Welcome to BW!! Glad to have you here!

Yes we do love her. My kids like her, but she trys to play to rough with them. She's still learning what her teeth do and what they're for. I've taken lots of pics and theres more to come. Right now there's a problem with her leg, broken growth plate is what her vet said. We're getting a second opinion before we settle for surgery. Thanks for the welcome.
