Hello From Georgia!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there,
I am the proud owner of a 4 month old white boxer named ANGEL. She is the light of our lives. that is sometimes she is. we are having some problems with her wanting to eat her POOP now though. can you help me???? i dont understand this at all. thanks so much for the help. i can not handle this at all. she is a sweet thing otherwise though.

I now have the scooper and a bucket to keep the area clean of waste. When my sheltie (since passed) did this. It was worse in the winter. The vet said she was either missing certain vitamins or because it was frozen, it had no taste. She could have a full belly and would still go out and eat frozen turtles. That's why I got the scooper. It helped. Plus, I changed her diet. Good luck. Welcome to BW.

Welcome! There is actually a medical term for this: coprophagia. Do a seach on this and for 'eating poop' and you'll find lots of info about it.

Hi and welcome... we're from Georgia too.. Conyers area.. Abigail never ate her own poop but she did try a kitty crunchy every once and a while... finally got her broke of that... yuck..:eek:

Hello & Welcome from another Georgian! Don't have any suggestions on how to stop her from eating "poop". I have to say I am glad that is one thing Lola never ate.

Hi,
I also am from Ga. around West Point lake. I live off of hwy. 27.
I have a flashy brindle male that is 3 yrs. old .A female brindle that is 1 yr. old. I have had a couple of others over the years. If you like,add me to your buddy list. I am trying to keep a few people on my buddy list that is from Ga.
I think it would be nice to have some boxer fans like me that live close.

Hello from Atlanta and welcome to this wonderful board. I have never seen them eat their own poop, but they love some kitty poop(yuck!) Good luck with changing that...i truly have no clue but i bet you could do a search on here and find something! Good luck!
