Hello from Ft. Walton Beach

I am the proud Mom of 3 Boxers and joined BW today. Grumpy is my oldest and has lymphoma and will be put to peace on 11th or 12th. His wife Daisy is 3 yrs old and they had 9 pups last Feb 11th. We are so thankful we kept 1 boy we named Gunner. I joined BW to help in my decision with Grumpy and ease my mind. I know in my head we are doing whats right, but my heart is aching! I never was a dog lover or really cared about dogs till the moment I first laid eyes on my Grumpy almost 8 years ago. He is the love of my life and I take comfort in knowing many other families are now experiencing that same love he offered us, as his puppies live on and brighten other lives. Grumpy lost 25 pounds in 2 weeks, money is no object when it comes to him and everything that could be done has. I thank God for my Grumpy and the true love he has given me and my family. He is our child, our pillow stealing, gas machine, ! I honestly don't think he ever knew he was a dog! Thank you for letting me put my sorrow in words.

Greetings from Alabama! Welcome to BW. The people here are wonderful. I have learned so much about Boxers. I don't think I could be as good a mom to Drake without them We used to live in Gulf Breeze. What a wonderful place for Boxers.
