Boxer Pal
About two months ago my wife and I saved a brindle female boxer mix from these very horrible people. Mom was thin and filthy. They had her tied to the corner of the garage, with only a car for shelter. All nine pups were left loose to run around and fend for themselves. After we talked them out of Cinder, I promptly called animal control to get them taken to a NO-Kill shelter.
The only thing (to my eyes that keep her from looking like a purebred boxer is
she has a slightly longer snout. She is about 13-14 weeks old. The vet says she is in perfect health and we lover her. We did a 4 week puppy kindergarten class with her, and she graduated yesterday. She is a brilliant dog.
Sunday we went and purchased a purebred boxer. 10 week old P.V. He is a reverse brindle. I can't wait to get him into Puppy Kindergarten.
It is so funny to watch these two. One minute they are full on boxing, bouncing and ruff housing. The next they are curled up using each other as pillows. Today we were out in the driveway and they found some ants. let's just say, if they were jackhammers I wouldn't have a solid piece of concrete left in my driveway.
I guess this is a long intro but my arms are pinned to the laptop by 2 happy healty puppies.
Here is my photobucket page for the kids:
