I'm a first time boxer owner in Cumberland, RI. Roxy is a brindle female that is now 14 months old. I've always liked the boxer breed, especially after my sister got one and I got to spend time with the dog. (unfortunately she had to give the dog to another family when she moved) She's a real smart one, if I can only get her to stop stealing food off the counter after I've fallen asleep! (last night she ate a whole pack of hamburger rolls) Everyone keep the good posts coming! Enjoy

HI and welcome. I know how you feel with the stealing off the counter thing. My Rock is 15 months and he went through the bread eating phase but now that we started putting the bread in a bread box he eats paper towels. Not at night though only when we leave him alone for more than two hours. The last I checked there wasn't a box I can buy for paper towels so we have to keep them up out of reach. He doesn't eat anything else so I guess we cn't complain too bad. I mean he could destroy my new furniture right . Anyway you will learn and share so much here and I look forward to reading it and getting to know you and Roxy.

Welcome, welcome! Lily likes to sneak things off the counter too but once they fall to the ground, she will stare at them like how they get down there? LOL! She has yet to eat anything she has pulled off the counter!
