Boxer Pal
My name is Ashley and my boyfriend and I just bought a new puppy boxer. I recently graduated from OSU. Work and the pup are keeping me very busy! We got her when she was 8 weeks so she is now about 14wks. Her name is Dakota and we are pretty much obsessed with her. We don't have any other dogs so she is spoiled already. There is a great park that we take her too and she runs with adult dogs, mostly goldens and labs..she has a blast, she does so well with the big dogs, she tries to act tough by barking but it doesn't work! There is a huge pond at this park and she is starting to go in the water, a little more each time. We love the outdoors and took her on a big camping trip with us this weekend. We hiked 6 miles one day and the next 4 miles. We were a little worried that she would get tired really fast, but she was amazing!!! We were in some pretty thick wooded areas and steep in some parts. She loved it the whole time. We even let her off her leash and she just stayed in between us. She would run to whoever was in front and then wait for the other behind, again and again...her favorite part was cuddling up in the sleeping bag though...so cute!!! We have never owned a boxer before, but we are loving her!!!
