Hello, everyone. I am Huicho's (pronounced "Wee-cho"...it's a nickname for Luis in Spanish) daddy. He's a 2 year old fawn, we never clipped his ears, and he still acts like a puppy. When he was about 3.5 months old, he came down with a terrible bone disease called HOD (Hypertrophic Osteodystrophy). Essentially, the growth plates in his bones were growing more quickly than normal. It was quite painful for him, and once they diagnosed it (one vet initially thought it was Meningitis), we had him on anti-inflamatory drugs for a few months and then we switched to some homeopathic meds after seeing a different vet. He outgrew the disease about a year ago, but his hind legs are not aligned the way they should be. But, he's happy and otherwise healthy. I say all this just in case someone else has a similar experience. If so, write to me and I will give you some pointers.

I think that's enough for now. I look forward to interacting with everyone!
