Welcome to BW! Your baby is still a little young to have left his mother so there may be some issues that crop up farther down the road such as bite inhibition, etc. They usually learn this from their litter and mother but since he's a couple weeks younger he may not have learned this. If this does become a problem then do a search and you will find lots of information about how to help with this. Congrats in your new baby, I also have a white boy who will be 2 soon. You will find LOTS of information on here, best place on earth if you want help/information/compassion from others and such a wonderful resource (Thanks Olly and moderators!).

Welcome to you and Tyson !! You"ll like it here :) I sooo love white boxers :) I told dh I really would like to have a new baby :) He said the 4 we have is more than enough for now :(

VELA-Thank You so much for the info on the bite inhibition . I will definatly follow up on that. If you think of anything else that might come up from bringing him home too early I can use all of the advice I can get. This is my first dog and I want to soak up as much info as I possibly can to make him a happy healthy dog. I am really glad I found this forum

Welcome to BW from Upstate NY. and congrtaulations on Tyson. White boxers are beautiful. The only advice I can give you on his age and litter seperation is that I have heard that when pups are seperated before 8 weeks they can also be animal/dog agressive due to the animal socialization period being cut short. This is not all inclusive, but I would introduce him to other dogs/puppies fairly soon.......maybe a local puppy class. Believe it or not these classes have many benefits especially for our headstrong babies. Good luck and post some pics soon, and of course, let us know how Tyson is doing.
