Boxer Pal
Hello everybody, i am extremely excited to finally be a proud boxer owner for the first time. My girlfriend and I have wanted a boxer for a long time and finally are schedules coincide to allow us to get one.
we were going to go the traditional route and pick a breeder and purchase a puppy that way, but it came to be that i was in a pet store getting some food for my cat when i ran into a gentleman who had a 3 1/2 month old fawn male boxer puppy. it was love at first site. i started talking to the man as the puppy was flayling around like a maniac super excited to play with anyone.
as i talked to the fellow found out he had purchased the puppy from a reputalble breeder but the puppy was having to stay in the crate from 7am to
7pm straight. i was horrified this poor dog had no human interaction or attempts at training, or eating for 12 hrs a day. As our conversation progressed the man asked if i would be interested in having him,i already knew that he was the dog that was meant for us. I talked it over with my girlfriend that night and we got him the following weekend.
after a vet checkover found he had demodex and also fleas, he had not been taking care of at all. we got all his shots up to date, started on mange meds and flea treatments. We have now had him for little over a month and he is doing awesome, we have him eating canidae, he is already bell trained and the center of our life we love him to death. well sorry for the lengthy intro and am excited about being a part of the great website
