Hello! I cannot believe that I have never come across this awesome site before now. I unfortunately found it while searching for information on Spondylosis Deformans as I have an 8 year old boxer that was just diagnosed with it when he started losing control of his back legs. Considering I was expecting to hear pulled muscles that diagnosis came as quite a shock. Riggs is our first baby and those of you starting with a new pup know that I truly mean that...I still remember getting up with him during the night and cuddling him until he fell asleep again. We really spoiled him as a pup, sleeping with us, sitting on the couch with us etc, etc, etc...we weren't expecting our "lap dog" to be the 105 lbs that he is now. I can hear all the gasps already...not to worry he is not a massively obese boy! He is a purebred with both his Mom and Dad being past Champions and his Dad was quite a big boy. This was our first boxer so, like children, they grow up right before your eyes and then one day you say WOW! I will never forget the day our vet said "Riggs is the BIGGEST boxer that I have ever seen"! I am hoping to get as much information about Spondylosis as I can, so anywhere that anyone can point me would be greatly appreciated! I Thank-You in advance!
