Good Evening to all,
Well Murphy has hit the 20 week stage of life and has definately become quite the personality. He has been growing like a bad weed. Sitting in at a comfortable height of 20 inches and wieghing in at a ripe 40 lbs. Right now my daily question is is whether or not he can be trusted for 10 - 15 minutes without supervision. He has developed quite the play act. When I leave for work in the morning he is usually "sleeping" on the couch. My roommate usually gets up as I am leaving for work and has discovered a little secret with Murphy. As soon as I walk out the door Murph will peek his head out the window and waits for me to drive off. When the coast is clear he absolutely destroys the house. Toilet paper from one end of the house to the other, magazines and other paper items turn into confetti, dog toys everywhere. It looks like a tornado hits the place. When my roommate enters the living room Murph knowing he's messed up jumps onto the couch and lies down and then pulls that " you can't get mad at me Im cute" look and will just watch Scott.
Then when Scott goes to have a shower before he leaves for work he has to leave the door open as Murph starts the whole routine all over again. Scott will peek through the door and watch and Murph will pretend he's sleeping. WHen Scott leaves the room he crawls his way over to the other couch and then attacks the cat or the plants. If Scott pops his head around the door Murphy is instantly "asleep". THe craziest thing I have ever seen.
You can usually tell where Murphy's mind set is by his ears. When he's all "sweet and innocent"
, his ears are flapping in the wind and normal, when he's in his own little world his ears are folded back over his head and he gets his "puppy fraps". Racing around the house at mach 10 with his fur on fire, we basically just have to move the furniture out of the way and let him go.
OMG what will happen when he reaches is full height and full weight.....
Make note to self........Self, get larger house...........
