Hello from a City Dog in Chicago, IL

Hello all! We just brought 10-week old Millie home with us this Saturday. She is a docked, floppy, flashy fawn and is SO cute! This is our first boxer, and first dog actually! She slept from 11:30-6 last night...I thought that was a huge accomplishment! We live in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, and since we don't have a yard, will be taking many walks to the area parks and dog park. We are in love. This board seems to be a wealth of information, and I look forward to exploring it further.

Welcome to BW from Villa Park, IL. My husband and I got our first boxer, Zoey, last May. It didn't take us long before we got a second boxer (last January) named Mia. We just love them so much. Boxers really are a special breed.
You are going to grow to love Millie and have more laughs than you ever thought possible.

This site is going to be very helpful to you. Unfortunately, I don't get to visit as often as I would like to. But, I promise you that after getting acquainted, it really feels like a second family here at BW.
