Hi everybody. Just got a 3 month old male boxer pup for Valentine's Day. Wanted to say hi and introduce myself Oscar and my puppy. Who for the time being is nameless because my girlfriend and I haven't come up with one.

Any suggestions?

Anyway I jsut became a member and am learning so much already, I will definitely be referring to the site in the upcoming weeks.

Welcome. What a very sweet valentine's present. As for a name, what about a version of valentine or something that signifies the day to commerate the occasion. or a name that reflects your pup's personality? anyway, welcome!

Congrats on your new baby and welcome to Boxerworld. I also think it would be cut to go with something Valentine or love themed.

How about Cupid, Eros, Romeo, Beau (male counterpart to Belle), Teddy, Casanova ? Ok I think I am really bad at this I'll stop.

Perhaps you might want to post a seperate thread under Name your Boxer and you might get some better ideas.

Thanks Everyone for the welcome.

Yea the puppy was pretty much the best Valentine's Day gift ever.
Well the puppy is about to be 3 months old. His was born November 28, 2005.
His first Vet appointment is this Friday.

I am feeding him 2x a day a mixture of 1/2 dry food (Puppy Chow) and 1/2 wet food (Pedigree). During the day I am also leaving a little dry food in his dish. He is running around and playing withmyself and other members of my family so I think his excercise is ok. I want to take hime to the vet before I really take him out in the neighborhood.

Any suggestions?

So far the only problem is his not wetting on the wee wee pad which I posted on another forum.

I know he will be cared for and shown much love in this household. I have wanted a dog pretty much my whole life and I just hope I do a good job raising him.
