Hi

I am a new member as of last week - mum to Katie a white 3 year old boxer KC Name "Nina's Surprise" - I also own two horses - a Welsh Part Bred called Cefn Glan Ghostbuster (Buster) and a Falabella called Paddington Bear which I show all over Britain. I also had Kelly a 16 year old white boxer who I sadly had to put to sleep last Wednesday after the poor mite had several severe heart attacks - she now rests peacefully at the end of our garden where I can still sit with her. Does anyone in Boxer World have similar interests??

Welcome Hev. :) Glad you found this site...it's full of good information and advice. I'm sorry to hear about Kelly, but 16 years was a wonderfully long time to cherish with a boxer. angelicon I live in the US, in Florida, which is in the southern part of the US. I have an 11 month old flashy fawn boxer named Boomer, and a 4 year old grey tabby cat named Baxter. I'm married with three children, all boys, ages 3,11,and 16. My mother's side of the family were all Welsh, coming to this country around 1870. My Dad's side were Scots, clan of Abercrombie. Glad to "meet" you, and looking foward to hearing more about you and your boxers.

Horses & Dogs.

Welcome to our Boxerworld. Years ago I used to work at a riding school in Kent, England, we had a beautiful grey Welsh pony named 'Seagull' there, he was so gentle and very good with children. That was back in the 1950's. Now I live in B.C. Canada and we have a brindle Boxer, this is our third one. The first one was Winston, a very dark brindle, the second one was Brenin, a dark fawn,(his coat was more red than fawn), and now Sergeant, he has a few chevron stripes on his back, hence the name. All our dogs have had black masks. Do you have any photos that you can share with us, of Katie? So sorry to hear about your Kelly, that was a great age, you must have looked after her very well. Helene.

Welcome to the board!

Welcome to the board!
We also have a white boxer who's 8 1/2 years old. His name is Remy, and he was our first boxer.

It is so delightful to hear of a boxer living to be 16! How wonderful.
But I am sorry to hear you lost her. :( It is hard, no matter what age. We lost our female 11 months ago, and it is still very sad.

Welcome , Im very sorry to hear that youlost your boxer last week, but also happy to hear that shw made it to 16 years old. Im from Oregon which is in the pacific Northwest part of the USA. I have one boxer named Lacie, she is my first boxer, but I have no doubt that I will ever be boxerless again. LOL! They sure affect your life in a way that other breeds cant/

Welcome to the board. I'm so sorry for your recent loss of your boxer. I'm sure you will miss her terribly.

I believe there are a couple of other members here who are into horses, or own horses. I'm sure if you hang around you'll meet them soon enough.

At any rate, welcome to the board and we look forward to learning more about your Katie.
